I recently purchased this pan to use on a gas stove top. I have been very happy w/it! You never use above med. heat, the temp is evenly distributed, food is cooked w/out a lot of messy cleanup and the pan itself is easy to clean! One night we had just started barbequing outside and ran out of gas-we finished "grilling" our steaks on our new Calphalon pan and they were delicious! The price was well worth it, and it has a lifetime warranty! We've made chicken, salmon, steak- it's great! I recommend it for an easy and delicious way to grill inside.
